The SVP, Core Accounts Transformation Product Owner, defines and drives the strategy, execution, and performance of Core Accounts capabilities, with primary accountability for transaction processing, end-of-day (EOD) orchestration, reconciliation, and global deposit insurance and protection compliance. This role leads large-scale global transformation initiatives, including defining the strategy and roadmap, while delivering resilient, compliant, and data-driven processing and control capabilities aligned with business, operational, and regulatory priorities.
Job Responsibility
Define and execute the vision and strategy for Core Accounts capabilities, including transaction processing, end-of-day processing, reconciliation, and virtual wallet services, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and control
Manage overall product portfolio performance, with a focus on processing efficiency, reconciliation accuracy, in addition to regulatory compliance outcomes
Develop and maintain forward-looking roadmaps aligned to enterprise architecture, regulatory requirements (including deposit protection regimes), and client needs
Lead end-to-end execution of transformation programs focused on modernizing transaction processing, EOD orchestration, and reconciliation capabilities across regions
Provide oversight across segment product owners, central program teams, and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment, delivery accountability, and consistency of processing and control frameworks globally
Drive development and implementation of product constructs supporting the full account lifecycle, including real-time and batch processing, EOD close, data distribution, and reconciliation workflows
Translate complex data attributes, transaction flows, and operational processes into robust product capabilities supporting high-volume processing and accurate reconciliation
Partner with technology and architecture teams to modernize platforms, including processing engines, data models, reconciliation tooling, and controls frameworks
Ensure data lineage, traceability, and integrity across transaction processing and reconciliation to support internal controls and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with global deposit insurance and protection regulations, including alignment to jurisdictional requirements (e.g., FDIC, FSCS, and other regimes as applicable)
Maintain robust control frameworks for transaction processing, EOD balancing, and reconciliation accuracy, including oversight of breaks, exceptions, and remediation
Proactively assess and manage risks related to processing failures, reconciliation breaks, and regulatory exposure
Lead collaboration across technology, operations, legal, risk, and compliance teams to deliver end-to-end processing and control solutions
Build alignment across stakeholders on standardized global processing models, reconciliation frameworks, and deposit protection approaches
Serve as a senior point of accountability for transformation of core processing and data distribution
Requirements
10–15+ years of relevant experience in product management, product development, and/or transaction banking, with demonstrated success operating at scale in complex, global organizations
Proven ability to define, own, and execute product strategy, driving measurable business outcomes across product portfolios
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including platform modernization and product rationalization
Strong business acumen, with experience managing product performance, delivering on time and on budget
Deep domain expertise in core accounts, payments, liquidity, or transaction banking, with the ability to translate client, market, and regulatory needs into scalable product solutions
Bachelor’s/University degree required
Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or equivalent experience preferred
