As a Copywriting Manager at IMC, you'll play an important part in the team and bring valuable IKEA knowledge into a new setting. In the coming years, we will be gearing up for a more connected, digital and future-focused communication landscape, where creativity, business impact and new technologies — including AI — will shape how we meet the many people. Your primary focus will be to lead and develop copywriting competence, secure strong and consistent IKEA communication and IKEA tone of voice across touchpoints, and enable high-quality creative delivery through collaboration, coaching and smart ways of working. You'll report to the Creative Manager.
Job Responsibility
Support and enable strong copy development across campaigns, launches and customer communication by coaching and developing copywriters and creatives, securing a clear, consistent and inspiring IKEA tone of voice, and ensuring the right competence for the right assignment
Collaborate with stakeholders across IMC and the IKEA network to translate business, customer and range priorities into relevant, impactful and commercially strong communication
Contribute to smarter and more future-focused ways of working by exploring new technologies, AI and creative processes that strengthen both quality and efficiency in delivery
Requirements
Have strong experience in copywriting, creative communication or content development, with a good understanding of the IKEA tone of voice and brand identity
Be able to lead, coach and develop creative competence, creating a collaborative environment where people and ideas can grow
Understand how communication supports business goals, customer relevance and commercial priorities across channels and touchpoints
Navigate a fast-changing creative landscape with curiosity and openness towards new tools, digital capabilities and AI-supported ways of working
Build strong relationships and collaborate confidently with stakeholders across teams, functions and the wider IKEA network
