Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking skilled Copywriters in Chicago with experience in agency, corporate, or B2B environments for ongoing contract opportunities. These roles involve crafting short-form and/or long-form content for various industries.

Job Responsibility:

Craft short-form and/or long-form content for various industries
Contribute to diverse projects supporting brand communication, marketing campaigns, and business initiatives
Write content for ad campaigns, brochures, presentations, email campaigns, and internal communications
Develop compelling messaging aligned with branding and business goals
Create copy for whitepapers, case studies, proposals, product descriptions, and professional blogs
Generate attention-grabbing headlines, taglines, email subject lines, and social media posts
Produce in-depth content such as blogs, newsletters, training materials, and press releases
Carefully proofread and edit content to maintain accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client brand voice and tone
Conduct quality assurance checks across all deliverables

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in an agency, corporate, or B2B environment
Portfolio showcasing a range of work, including B2B content, short-form ad copy, and long-form projects such as blogs or whitepapers
Strong proofreading and self-editing skills with a focus on grammar, punctuation, and tone
Proficiency in content marketing strategies, including SEO, keyword integration, and analytics alignment
Ability to write for various audiences and platforms (e.g., digital, print, email)
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
