We are seeking a talented Copywriter with deep expertise in crafting compelling, performance-driven messaging for retail media networks. The ideal candidate excels at writing across onsite placements, offsite display, paid social, email, and seasonal retail campaigns. This role requires strong storytelling skills, an understanding of shopper behavior, and the ability to translate brand guidelines and advertiser objectives into clear, impactful, and conversion-focused copy. The Copywriter will collaborate closely with creative, merchandising, media, and ad operations teams to deliver high-quality messaging across multiple retail touchpoints.
Job Responsibility:
Write compelling copy for onsite ads, offsite display, paid social, email, and retail campaigns
Develop performance-driven messaging aligned with advertiser goals (CTR, conversions, engagement)
Create headlines, body copy, CTAs, product descriptors, and promotional content based on platform needs
Ensure copy is aligned with brand voice, advertiser guidelines, and legal/compliance standards
Collaborate with Creative Designers to deliver strong visual + verbal storytelling
Participate in creative reviews and provide strategic recommendations for messaging improvements
Version messaging for multiple audiences, formats, and placements
Maintain high-quality standards while managing fast-paced campaign cycles and multiple review rounds
Requirements:
Strong expertise in writing for retail media networks (onsite, offsite, social, email, ad placements)
Ability to craft concise, impactful, and performance-oriented messaging
Deep understanding of retail storytelling, product positioning, and shopper decision journeys
Excellent command of brand voice, tone consistency, and clarity across high-volume campaigns
Skilled at interpreting advertiser briefs, brand guidelines, and media strategies
Strong editing, proofreading, and fact-checking skills for accuracy across SKUs, features, and claims
Ability to collaborate closely with design, production, ad ops, sales, and merchandising teams
Strong communication skills and ability to present creative concepts
Nice to have:
Experience working in U.S. retail or large-scale e-commerce environments
Familiarity with performance marketing metrics (CTR, ROAS, conversions)
Understanding of SEO writing and content optimization
Experience writing for multilingual or multicultural audiences
