As a Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for developing ideas and writing content for various parts of the business that will appear both internally and externally. From advertising and thumb-stopping social content through to film scripts and treatments, you’ll get involved in various interesting and exciting projects. A storyteller at heart, you’ll be able to turn client briefs into the kind of content that people will want to watch, read or listen to. You’ll have an ability to craft the right words to connect with people over a variety of different subjects.
Job Responsibility:
Develop creative concepts for brand, product, and integrated campaigns across all channels
Define and elevate the brand voice, ensuring clarity, consistency, and distinctiveness across the organisation
Translate complex propositions into compelling, customer-focused narratives
Partner closely with creative directors, designers, producers to deliver best-in-class creative work
Act as a creative voice in cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders across marketing, product, and leadership
Navigate regulatory and compliance requirements while maintaining high creative standards
Present and sell creative ideas with confidence and clarity to senior stakeholders
Maintain the high standards of creative output within the applicable corporate identity
Ensuring that all completed work is thorough, accurate and meets deadlines
Day-to-day creative decision-making
The timely communication of specification and scheduling changes back to the Traffic Manager
Requirements:
Experience of writing for various corporate brands, maintaining a consistent approach across a range of media
Experience of short-form copy - advertising, social media or direct mail (particularly email campaigns)
Experience of taking complex content and turning it into well-crafted content that speaks to people
Proven experience in an agency or in-house creative environment, ideally within financial services or other regulated industries
A book brimming with strong ideas as well as beautifully written copy
Comfortable presenting ideas to the internal team and also clients
Worked in a client-facing role where you built strong client relationships
Exceptional conceptual thinking and storytelling ability
Mastery of tone of voice development and brand narrative building
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to align creative ideas to business objectives
Confidence in presenting creative work to clients including senior stakeholders
The ability to understand complex subjects and transform them into compelling stories
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience working with clients
Excellent verbal and written communication
Flexible and responsive manner
Ability to balance creativity with precision, accuracy, and regulatory constraints
