Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Copywriter to join our team on a contract basis, assisting with the creation and research of content for an upcoming book project. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent writing, editing, and research abilities who can deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. The position is based in Miami Beach, Florida, and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful content creation.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough research to gather and verify information for inclusion in the book project
Write clear, engaging, and accurate copy that aligns with the project’s vision and tone
Edit and proofread written materials to ensure consistency, grammatical accuracy, and adherence to AP Style
Develop creative content for advertisements, brochures, and other promotional materials related to the book
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all content meets brand guidelines and objectives
Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and CMS platforms to manage and refine content
Monitor audience insights and analytics, such as Facebook Insights, to optimize content effectiveness
Maintain strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines and balance multiple priorities
Apply computer research skills to support fact-checking and content enhancement
Contribute ideas for improving brand awareness and engagement through strategic communication

Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and content management systems (CMS)
Strong knowledge of AP Style and experience with copywriting for various formats
Ability to conduct detailed research and present findings in a clear, concise manner
Familiarity with tools such as Facebook Insights and Gmail for communication and analytics
Demonstrated experience in creating advertisements, brochures, and blog content
Excellent editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Proven ability to align content with brand identity and audience expectations
