Job Description:

This is an ideal role for a leader who has substantial interpersonal skills, energy, business abilities, support skills and a clear commitment /vision for coproduction and empowerment of vulnerable people in our society. The aim of Creative Together (Centre) is to work in a preventative way to reduce isolation and loneliness felt by many people with mental health, learning disabilities and other support needs by providing a warm, equal and friendly environment where people want to be. A space where individuals develop their creativity and skills. The centre is part of our Coproduction approach encapsulating important principles of ownership, involvement and value of everyone’s contribution and skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Centre coordination of diverse, supportive, and safe groups and activities
  • Coproduction with people supported nationally and attending members
  • Work in close partnership with the Membership coordinator
  • Further develop the membership model
  • Ensure a sustainable and enterprising business model that utilises volunteers
  • Ensure the centre is safe and well run and provide outcome reports to the exec and Board
  • Promote and develop wellbeing activities that support the aims of Creative Support
  • Line manage and develop the dedicated centre team of staff and volunteers
