Manual Worker – Copper Foundation (12 Month Fixed Term) We are currently recruiting for our Copper Foundation initiative, which gives those currently out of work the chance to attain valuable knowledge, skills and experience in a variety of horticultural, neighbourhood and trade disciplines. You will gain 12-months paid work experience, increasing your employability skills. The salary for the role is £24,558 per annum, working 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday: 8:00 – 15:30. As part of this role, you will be expected to: Assist with the clearance and ground preparation for boundary and external work as required to ensure a programme of works can be carried out effectively. Assist with laying or replacing paving slabs or fencing to our properties and boundaries, ensuring a high standard of work. To ensure a safe working environment whilst undertaking duties, such as complying with COSHH, RA’s, HAVS, AUDIO and PPE requirements. Within the first 6 months you will be encouraged to study for and pass your Driving Theory test, at your own cost. This will open up opportunities for you to secure employment once the contract ends (You will be given time to complete practice theory tests online at our head office to help you achieve this goal).
