Job Description:

The Store Construction Procurement Coordinator is an entry-level position whose primary responsibility is to support the activities and systems of materials procurement for the Store Construction team. The Coordinator will be involved in multiple aspects of the Store Construction life-cycle and processes, such as: issuing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from vendors, issuing and adjusting Purchase Orders, monitoring production and shipping status, keeping Constructions Managers aware of shipment tracking and material ETAs, assist in the expediting of lost, damaged, or additional materials needed and miscellaneous tasks/projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with Procurement leads to assist in sending out RFPs upon the posting of Bid Sets
  • Follow-up with vendors to ensure timely receipts of RFPs and then issue POs
  • Assist in monitoring vendor production to ensure PO ship dates are achieved
  • Make PO adjustments as needed over the course of the project
  • Keep Construction Project Managers aware of delivery dates for materials and action any desired delivery date changes
  • Field questions from the A&F Transportation team regarding planned shipments and deliveries
  • Field requests from Construction Projects Managers via e-mails or SCRs for any replacement or additional materials then work with vendors to produce and ship urgently
  • Complete ad hoc analysis, reporting, or special projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in Business, Construction, Finance, Logistics, or Statistics
  • Proficient skills in the Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel)
  • Extremely detail oriented with a focus on accurate data entry and auditing
  • Time management
  • ability to complete special projects in addition to core job responsibilities
  • Understanding of project timelines and schedules
  • Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with multiple cross-functional teams
