Job Responsibility

  • Researching and reviewing applicable engineering documentation and other approved technical data from multiple sources
  • Acting as the main liaison between our suppliers
  • Provide reports and dashboards
  • Establishing a continuous quality process based on established standards
  • Providing support or information to internal (Engineering, Technical Support Group) and external clients
  • Participating in the peer review process of SBs
  • Adhering to the allocated budget for each supplier
  • Ensuring financial transparency

Requirements

  • college degree in aviation, aircraft maintenance, or the equivalent
  • at least ten (10) years of experience as a technical writer
  • five (5) years of technical experience related to aircraft
  • can work with minimal supervision/in a hybrid work environment
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French
  • good command of English, spoken and written
  • practical knowledge of simplified English and procedure writing
  • work experience reading engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and a maintenance manual/publication in service
  • good knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • good knowledge of SGML creation (ArborText Adept Editor or Adobe FrameMaker)
