In this role, you'll be a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for all incoming People inquiries. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring a seamless and exceptional employee experience from day one, providing essential administrative and operational support that contributes to a positive and efficient workplace. You will ensure excellence and best practice on all day-to-day administrative processes, including onboarding, offboarding, leaves of absence, flexible working, secondments, sabbaticals, cyclical processes such as promotions, annual career conversations and salary and bonus reviews.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries via our ticketing system and other channels through which the People team is contacted
Triage and assess the urgency of incoming requests, providing prompt and clear guidance on People policies, programs, and procedures
Effectively manage the intake process, tracking tickets and following up to ensure timely resolution or escalation to the appropriate People team member
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and issues covering the full employee lifecycle with a client-focused mindset, tact, and discretion
Facilitate a smooth and engaging onboarding and offboarding experience for new hires and leavers, including employee profile setup, onboarding support, offboarding support, exit interviews and tracking completion of HR tasks
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our Human Capital Management system, ensuring data integrity and strict adherence to global data protection regulations like GDPR
Contribute to various People team projects and initiatives, including process improvement and process mapping
Manage administrative tasks such as submitting employee data changes to the appropriate teams, scheduling meetings, processing invoices and documenting action points
Effectively communicate essential information to employees and managers through various internal channels, including our intranet
Collaborate with the People Services, Recruitment, People Business Partners, Technology, Payroll, and Benefits teams to execute processes and tasks
Proactively identify opportunities to improve People services and processes, contributing to a more efficient and effective team
Requirements:
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse group of people
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to manage competing demands and prioritize accordingly
Excellent attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, open-minded approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Commitment to upholding strict confidentiality and discretion standards
Teamwork and collaboration skills (i.e., ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments)
High school diploma or GED required
