As an integral member of Cencora’s Global Healthcare Compliance Monitoring team, the Compliance Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the company’s healthcare compliance program. This position is responsible for providing case management support, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and escalations, and contributing to Cencora’s commitment to maintaining ethical business practices in the healthcare industry. The Compliance Program Coordinator serves as a key liaison to Compliance Officers, providing guidance and support for cases that require follow-up or clarification related to healthcare compliance matters. Additionally, this role is responsible for administering compliance systems, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating effective communication across the healthcare compliance function. Reporting into the Global Compliance Monitoring Manager, the Compliance Program Coordinator contributes to the Office of Compliance’s efforts to monitor adherence to the company’s Code of Conduct, healthcare compliance policies, and applicable healthcare laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of compliance and integrity in the healthcare space.
Job Responsibility:
Perform monitoring and management of healthcare compliance cases, including Conflicts of Interest, Business Gratuities, Sponsorships, and other healthcare-related compliance matters
Ensure submitted cases contain complete and accurate information and are addressed or resolved in a timely manner, in accordance with healthcare compliance policies and regulations
Document exceptions identified from healthcare compliance monitoring processes into Navex or other compliance systems
Communicate effectively with Compliance Officers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on healthcare compliance initiatives
Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple time zones to address healthcare compliance inquiries and escalations
Serve as a point of contact for healthcare compliance-related inquiries, escalations, and system-related issues
Gain a deep understanding of Cencora’s healthcare compliance policies and apply critical thinking to correlate casework with healthcare regulatory requirements
Participate in brainstorming sessions and creation of ad-hoc/continuous monitoring reports to support healthcare compliance special projects and ongoing monitoring efforts
Demonstrate a proactive approach to professional development by seeking opportunities to expand knowledge of healthcare compliance best practices, emerging healthcare regulations, and industry trends
Participate in training programs, seminars, or certifications to enhance skills and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare compliance program

Administer compliance systems, including managing user access and maintaining system integrity to support adherence to healthcare compliance standards

Adhere to healthcare compliance policy governance standards and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and decisions related to healthcare compliance efforts

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative or case coordination experience, preferably in healthcare, or a regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceutical, healthcare services, or medical devices)
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Additional certifications or coursework in healthcare, healthcare compliance, or legal studies are a plus but not required
Familiarity with healthcare compliance systems such as Navex, Archer, or other case management platforms is preferred, but not required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and within healthcare compliance teams
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a healthcare compliance environment
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential healthcare compliance information with discretion
Enjoys the challenge of balancing competing priorities and achieving deadlines while adhering to healthcare compliance standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and SmartSheet
Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau, or other data visualization platforms to support healthcare compliance reporting and monitoring
Strong data entry, reporting, critical thinking, and analytical skills, especially in healthcare compliance contexts
Ability to quickly learn and navigate healthcare compliance software systems
Familiarity with healthcare compliance concepts, practices, and procedures, especially in regulated healthcare industries
Understanding of corporate governance, ethics, and compliance frameworks specific to healthcare regulations and standards
