Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years Experience coaching wellness needs
1-2 years Experience with evaluating wellness and health promotion programs
1-2 years Experience implementing wellness and health promotion programs
1-2 years Experience conducting health risk assessments
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Health Coach Certification Required
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
Wellness Coach Certification required or completed within 90 days

Job Responsibility

Processing the referrals received to the Baptist Health Wellness Centers including scheduling appointments in a timely manner, maintaining detailed records, clear communication with all parties, and navigating patient questions
Confidently learning and working within multiple technology systems such as: Microsoft Office programs [Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.], Epic EMR system, and various web-based platforms like Eventbrite, SECA, Converge Virtual Merchant, and Smartsheet
Performing Wellness Coaching sessions delivering quality health education guidance and administering baseline health screenings
Accurately documenting wellness coaching session information and program participation data
Supporting colleagues with facility operations and the daily tasks of opening/closing the office, maintaining an organized space & supply needs, greeting and providing assistance to all patrons, and preparing the Center for scheduled programming
Assisting patrons with healthcare navigation questions and needs
Program coordination including the development, promotion, implementation and evaluation of health education events
