Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator 1 located at the Redstone Test Center, Redstone, Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Astrion has worked extensively with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provides program management support utilizing ATEC and RTC Test Management tools including ADSS, PMM, PWA, CET, VDLS, SharePoint, PRO3, and the Project Management Dashboard
  • Tracks and coordinates test project documentation including but not limited to: proposals, test plans, reports, financial status, and schedules
  • ensuring all customers, Acct. Managers, Test Engineers, Divisions and Test Management maintain situational awareness

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in project management, finance, business, engineering, or related discipline from accredited* college/university and 1 year of applicable experience developing plans, budgets and schedules to meet project requirements
  • providing project status with regard to funding, schedule, and milestones
  • providing comparative analysis for budget and actual costs

  • comparing performance against plans
  • and reporting, analyzing and interpreting financial data from multiple sources
  • Must be motivated, dependable, and be able to work independently and within a team environment

  • Must be a proficient user of MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, One Note, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Possess, or able to obtain a DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance
