Job Description:

Coord-Events role at The Ritz-Carlton Santiago involves ensuring high-quality events in alignment with company standards, arranging banquet event orders, meeting guest expectations, and maintaining adherence to safety policies. This position prioritizes delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable
Read and analyze banquet event orders
Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements
Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
