Job Description:

As a Coord-Events at the Westin Bund Center Shanghai, you will ensure all banquet arrangements meet quality standards and provide exceptional service to guests. You will coordinate event details and maintain positive working relationships to achieve the goals of the team while empowering guests to enhance their well-being.

Job Responsibility:

Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions, make introductions, and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup
Respond to and try to fulfill special banquet event arrangements
Follow up on special arrangements to ensure compliance
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards
Inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually to identify defects
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move objects weighing less than 25 pounds without assistance
Perform reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience.
