Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development of innovative, market-focused enclosure cooling products
  • Cooling Production Start-design and optimize production line for Cooling units with respect to EH&S requirements, using Lean tools, company standards and EU Directives requirements (f-gas restrictions)
  • Working with operators, team leaders and planners to optimize process and material flow, and achieve the most efficient layout and line balancing
  • Assist during production machines and gas installation selection process
  • Create work & safety instructions, create control plans and process flows, PFMEA leader for high quality and efficiency of the process
  • Set up, control and maintain machine parameters for stable line capability
  • Support cross-functional Team in Cooling Production Start-up
  • Record f-gas consumption required for annual reporting
  • Cooperate with Logistics and Purchasing departments to monitor and plan quota for f-gas utilization
  • Support Strategic Department in the new components approval process (PPAP)
  • Engineering Change Order (ECO) processing - authorization of product and documentation changes
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen activities encouraging cross-functional groups to participate and meet common goals
  • Technical support for cooling products in Europe
  • Support Cooling Engineer in designing new products (simultaneous engineering)
  • Translate customer needs into product specifications
  • Assist during the prototype build process and problem-solving sessions

Requirements:

  • Academic background in BS in engineering required
  • 3-5+ years of related engineering experience
