Job Description:

Prepare and cook food; ensure quality standards; maintain clean and safe kitchen environment; operate kitchen equipment; adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
prepare cold foods
operate kitchen appliances
monitor food quality
set up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, tools, and equipment
ensure adherence to safety and security policies
develop and maintain positive working relationships with team
report maintenance needs and unsafe work conditions
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
ability to operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
ability to prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
ability to wash and disinfect kitchen tools and equipment
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
