Job Description:

The position involves food preparation, cooking, and presentation in accordance with quality standards. Applicants should be able to operate various kitchen equipment, follow safety protocols, and maintain cleanliness. Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards
operate and maintain various kitchen equipment
test food quality
ensure cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen area
maintain professional and positive team relationships
adhere to safety and security policies
follow quality and safety training standards.

Requirements:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
prepare cold foods
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
monitor food quality while preparing food
set-up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
follow company safety and security policies
complete safety training
maintain professional appearance
develop and maintain positive working relationships
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds or standing for long periods.

Nice to have:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience.
