Job Responsibility:
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules
Read and follow menus, recipes, and food preparation instructions with accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety guidelines
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures
Support kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to meet service goals
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Formal culinary or cook training program preferred
Completion of a formal cook training program preferred
3+ years of commercial cooking or food service experience preferred
ServSafe certification preferred
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices
Ability to follow written menus, recipes, and instructions accurately
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
