Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food according to established recipes and standards. The PM Weekend Cook works independently, and must be a self-starter who strives to provide an exceptional guest experience with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibility:
Assists in the preparation, production and service of food for restaurant and banquet functions
Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes by following recipes and/or product specifications
Maintain standards of sanitation and adhere to food safety regulations
Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment including but not limited to choppers, mixing machines, slicers, steamers, grills, etc.
Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management
Requirements:
Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
Requires strong organizational skills
Must be able to work independently
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
At least 21 years of age
Have a desire to exceed expectations
