Job Responsibility
Handle and prepare food in accordance with food safety regulations
Plan the cooking and baking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times but not too far in advance
Use and adjust standardized recipes and adhere to therapeutic and consistency diet guidelines
Act as charge person in the kitchen in the absence of a supervisor
Participate in department communication and teamwork
Prepare proper amounts of food and assure good quality of final product
Requirements
High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Proven experience in high-volume food preparation
Strong understanding of food safety and therapeutic diets
Commitment to culinary excellence within a fast-paced setting
