Job Description:

Prepare and cook food, maintain kitchen cleanliness and foster a positive work environment as part of the team at Courtyard by Marriott Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
monitor food quality
set up and break down workstations
serve food in proper portions
wash and sanitize kitchen tools and appliances
report maintenance issues and unsafe work conditions
complete safety training
maintain professional appearance
adhere to quality standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds
adherence to company policies and procedures
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
