Job Responsibility:

  • prepare and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff
  • review menus and production sheets to plan cooking schedules
  • follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent product
  • maintain safe and sanitary food preparation areas
  • collaborate with team members and other departments
  • assist with catering events
  • comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • must have short-order cooking experience in a fast paced environment
  • three years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting
  • ability to read, write, understand, and communicate english sufficiently
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • high school diploma or ged required
  • associates degree in culinary arts preferred
