Requirements:

  • Documented and demonstrated skills managing restaurant maintenance programs and projects in high volume and multi-unit operations for at least eight years, to include overall responsibility for success and failure of the facilities projects under their leadership
  • maintenance management experience for a minimum of 3 years with an underlying overall working restaurant experience of 3 years
  • documented and demonstrated knowledge of restaurant-related federal and state building codes, Trades practices, material specifications and standards, and general construction work-flow and processes
  • graduated from a Project Management certificate program, or has documented and demonstrated knowledge of project management processes and concepts
  • demonstrates team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills and the ability to manage multiple and concurrent priorities
  • demonstrates knowledge of HMSHost policies and products, service, quality, equipment and operations standards, or able to demonstrate this knowledge within a reasonable time from hire or promotion
  • requires a valid State Driver's License
  • requires the ability to work a flexible schedule
  • requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
  • requires exposure to hazardous materials or electrical shock
  • requires working near the operation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles
