Job Description:

This Cook III position involves preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards. Responsibilities include operating cooking equipment, setting up workstations, and ensuring food safety and hygiene. The candidate must have at least 1 year of related experience, along with a high school diploma or G.E.D. The job offers benefits such as health care, 401(k), and life insurance.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
prepare cold foods
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
test foods to determine if sufficiently cooked
monitor food quality
set up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, knives, and equipment
check and ensure correctness of temperatures for appliances and food
follow safety policies and procedures
maintain a clean and professional appearance
develop positive working relationships
support team goals
respond to concerns of coworkers
move, lift, and carry objects under 25 pounds
perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience
ensure adherence to quality, safety, and security policies
