Aramark is looking for a cook for the Bishop's University food service.
Job Responsibility
Cook and prepare various food items following production guidelines and standardized recipes
Prepare the daily menu
Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment
prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling
Ensure quantities are respected and that quality meets Aramark standards
Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs
Optimize food costs
Participate in service
Complete production, temperature, waste, and other related logs
Participate in inventory counts
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and M.A.P.A.Q. standards
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant environment
Ability to work as part of a team
Autonomy in completing tasks
Ability to work under pressure during peak service hours
Excellent customer service
Positive attitude
Finalist candidate will be required to undergo a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector screening
