Job Responsibility:

Daily prep for hot food menu
Ensures the proper utilization of ingredients
Assists Lead Cook and general workers as needed
Assists in line set up for service
Conducts monthly inventories
Helps maintain stock rooms and refrigeration
Ensures that proper sanitary standards are maintained
Operate cash register during lunch service

Requirements:

The ability to stand for extended periods of time
Carry, move and stock supplies and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
Must practice and maintain proper personal hygiene
Ability to complete needs list accurately
Must be able to accurately check in food and paper orders
Knowledge of standard food storage requirements
Ability to estimate inventory need in advance
Knowledge of Health Department standards and the ability to maintain them
Knowledge of high volume batch cooking
Ability to maintain kitchen morale
