Job Responsibility:
Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature
uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
cleans kitchen and stores or discards excess food in accordance with safety procedures
keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and stores items per standards
operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
reports maintenance issues or accidents to the supervisor
attends safety meetings and maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe environment
ensures proper presentation and portion control following HACCP standards
demonstrates personal commitment to safety
abides by company policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
Requirements:
Cooking experience required
ability to work full-time schedule including weekends
must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
willingness to adhere to company safety policies
ability to handle physical demands of kitchen work
availability to work varied hours Monday through Sunday
ability to follow standardized recipes and safety procedures
