The Cook is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Cook prepares breakfast, lunch and/or dinner per guest orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare food items of consistent quality according to guest orders following recipe, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards
Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean and efficient station
Strong knowledge of health codes and full understanding of all knife cuts
Label and date all food containers and rotates as per policies
Determines necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up
Returns all food items not used to designated storage areas
Manage and prioritize tasks by shift
Requirements:
Minimum two years of culinary experience in a luxury restaurant or similar
Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations
Continuous standing for up to 8 hrs per shift and the ability to lift up to 30Kg
Flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish
Must have the legal right to work in Spain
