Job Responsibility:
Prepare a variety of dishes, ensuring that recipes are followed, are of high quality and meet our customers' expectations
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Follow established sanitation procedures
Communicate effectively with wait staff
Use cooking utensils and cutting tools safely
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Experience in using cutting tools, cooking utensils
Manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods of time
Experience in food production and preparation
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to pass state or federally mandated food preparer and safety certifications within 90 days of hire
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to read and interpret order tickets
Nice to have:
Preferred experience as a head chef or sous chef
Preferred experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
