Job Description:

Prepare and cook meals in adherence to Sheraton Grand Seattle standards. Responsibilities include ingredient prep, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Be a part of the Marriott International team and contribute to creating welcoming guest experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
clean and sanitize kitchen area, tools, and equipment
ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe work conditions

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
no supervisory experience required
able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
capable of lifting and moving objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
