Job Description:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes; follow safety procedures; operate cooking equipment. Maintain cleanliness and professionalism.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
prepare cold foods
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
monitor food quality while preparing food
serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
clean and sanitize kitchen area, tools, knives, and equipment
check and ensure correctness of appliance and food temperatures
adhere to safety and security policies
complete safety training and certifications
maintain professional appearance and behavior
develop and maintain positive working relationships
listen and respond to concerns of other employees

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
