Job Description

The position is hands-on and is responsible for the production of hot and cold foods under the direction of the Executive Chef.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintains organized sanitary workstation at all times
  • Properly labels and dates food items for storage
  • Assists in the preparation of cut vegetables, baked goods and cold sauces
  • Minimizes waste by controlling overage and usage
  • Follows approved recipes and production standards
  • Be willing to function with other duties such as dishes, clean up

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Ability to produce high quality food in a fast paced environment
  • Positive, customer service oriented attitude at all times
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary practices
  • Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
  • Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment
  • One year of experience in food service as a cook is preferred
