• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations
• Preparing ingredients for the shift, such as washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders
• Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes
• Checking ingredients for freshness
• Cooking meals using various techniques and methods to prepare meals that meet customers’ expectations
• Maintaining a sanitary kitchen
• Storing excess food at the correct temperature to avoid spoilage
• Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner
• Ensuring that the refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and tidy

• Relevant qualifications
• Minimum 1 year experience as cook
• Ability to efficiently run the kitchen or restaurant food service
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work as a team leader and part of a team
• Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce
• Have a genuine commitment towards customer experience
