Our company is currently recruiting experienced Cook for long term care nursing facility in Washington, PA area.
Job Responsibility:
Prepares food as assigned according to standardized recipes to provide resident with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals
Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control
Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
Perform other job-related duties as they become required
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
