Job Description:

Prepare and cook food as per recipes, maintain safety and quality standards while fostering a positive work environment at Marriott.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
operate kitchen equipment
monitor food quality
clean and sanitize kitchen and equipment
maintain adherence to quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
monitor food quality
serve food
clean and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
check temperatures of appliances and food
stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, pull, stoop, and lift objects weighing less than 25 pounds
at least 1 year of related work experience.
