Job Responsibility:

Assures all dietary procedures are followed
Must be able to operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively including meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets
Assists in establishing food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time
Represents the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with potential residents and families
Prepares and serves nutritious meals, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavorful meals for residents

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Culinary Arts training preferred
2 years of dietary experience
Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to food service operations
Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
This is primarily a standing position, may need to stand in one place for extended periods of time
