Job Description:

Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks while ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards; maintain a clean and organized workstation; adhere to company values and provide excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate assistance needs during busy periods to the Chef
notify manager if a product does not meet specifications
check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food
monitor food quantity and portion sizes
ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish
serve food in proper portions
set-up, clean, and break down work station
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, and equipment
prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
prepare and cook food
follow company safety policies and procedures
report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions
complete safety training
maintain uniform and professional appearance
protect company assets
welcome and acknowledge guests
speak with professional language
maintain positive working relationships
support team goals
adhere to quality expectations and standards
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
reach overhead and below the knees
bend, twist, pull, and stoop
move, lift, push, and carry objects up to 25 pounds
perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
none for license or certification
