Job Description:

We are looking for an entry level cook to help prepare banquet meals and buffets according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. You must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also helpful. The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements:

  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Desire to learn and follow all health codes and kitchen guidelines
  • Must be available weekends and holidays
