Job Description:

The Cook III position at W Costa Rica - Reserva Conchal involves preparing and cooking food according to recipes and company standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, and ensuring quality in food preparation. Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
prepare cold foods
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
test foods for doneness
monitor food quality
set up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
ensure compliance with temperature guidelines
follow company policies and safety procedures
maintain a professional appearance
support team goals
respond appropriately to concerns from colleagues
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform other duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to prepare ingredients, wash and peel fruits and vegetables, weigh and mix ingredients, operate kitchen equipment, and monitor food quality
adherence to company policies and safety standards
physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects up to 25 pounds
clear and professional communication
teamwork and positive working relationships
no supervisory experience required
