Job Description:

Join JW Marriott in Atlanta Buckhead as a Cook II, where you will prepare and cook food with high standards of quality, operate kitchen appliances, ensure a clean workspace, and be part of a supportive and professional team in a luxury environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
operate kitchen appliances
monitor food quality
set-up and break down workstations
serve food
wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment
ensure compliance with safety policies
maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
develop positive relationships with team members
adhere to uniform and company standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 pounds
adherence to safety and security policies
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
