As a Cook II, you'll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking
  • wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and standards
  • prepare cold foods
  • operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • test foods to determine if they are cooked sufficiently
  • monitor food quality
  • set-up and break down work station
  • serve food
  • wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
  • check temperature of appliances and food
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe work conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • maintain a professional appearance
  • ensure adherence to standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform physical activities like bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • move objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds.
