Job Responsibility:
prepare and serve meals and food in a school kitchen
supervise food services personnel at the assigned school
order food and supplies accurately
receive and store food items
maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
operate kitchen equipment safely and proficiently
maintain records and operate cash register
Requirements:
high school graduation or equivalent
minimum 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
certified in food safety and sanitation or ability to complete certification within 6 months
free from communicable diseases
ability to perform physical tasks required
willingness to undergo pre-employment medical examination and drug test including THC
agreement to background investigation
ability to adhere to department policies and procedures
