Job Description

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity primarily working day shifts with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook.

Job Responsibility

  • Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff
  • Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
  • Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred
  • Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred
  • ServSafe certification is a plus

Nice to have

  • ServSafe certification is a plus
  • High School Diploma/GED Preferred
