Job Description

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Full-Time Cook I to our Cafeteria at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full Time opportunity working various days, including weekends, with a shift time of approximately 9:00am to 6:30pm The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. ServSafe certification is a plus. As a Cook I, you will be responsible for: Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for Hospital at Home patients; Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies; Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures; Cooling, packing, and labelling food for Hospital at Home meal delivery service. Experience Requirements: Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred; Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred. Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma (Preferred); ServSafe (Preferred). This Full Time Cook I will be located at Baptist Downtown (Jacksonville).
