Job Responsibility:
Prepare food items per guest orders following recipe cards and standards
Complete mise en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
Start food items prepared ahead of time, not beyond estimated needs
Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment
Date all food containers and rotate as per policies
Check pars for shift use, determine preparation, freezer pull and line set up
Note out-of-stock items or possible shortages
Return unused food items to designated storage areas
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for next shift
Requirements:
High school education, cooking school, or culinary institute education or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year of culinary or related work experience preferred
Basic culinary knowledge is expected
Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
