Job Description

Seeking Conveyor Mechanics and Local Cleaners/Skilled Laborers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment supporting an active conveyor system.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist the Project Manager with conveyor loaders
  • Support basic conveyor installation and mechanical tasks
  • Work safely around active conveyor equipment
  • Follow Amazon site safety and operational standards
  • General cleaning of work areas and equipment
  • Assist with jobsite cleanup throughout the shift
  • Support skilled trades as needed

Requirements

  • Conveyor mechanic experience required
  • Amazon certification required
  • Ability to work a full 12-hour shift
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to follow direction
  • Ability to perform physical labor for a 12-hour shift
  • Must be local to the Lebanon, TN area

  • Must understand how to use VOM and other tested related equipment to identify electrical problems
  • Identifying and analyzing errors and malfunctions such as to related items below: Intermittent/inconsistent electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment, PLC’s, 24v control circuits, 480v 3phase systems, 4-20ma circuits, VFD’s, PC controllers, and fieldbus technology/control technology, Complex mechanical components such as pumps, motors, bearings, etc.
  • Perform modernizations, extensions, and modifications according to specifications and/or sketches to electrical drawings
  • If necessary, adjust PLC programming and utilize PLC to troubleshoot issues
  • Independently construct or design equipment with use of PLC, BUS-Systems, Network Technology, Mechanical Components, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems and Cooling/Lubrication Systems
