Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Conveyor Electricians for a commercial conveyor installation project at a Kroger facility in Middletown, OH. This is a fast-paced industrial installation project focused on conveyor system electrical work, equipment installation, and startup preparation.

Job Responsibility

  • Install conveyor system electrical components and equipment
  • Install cable tray systems and support structures
  • Pull and install premanufactured cables
  • Perform electrical terminations and connections
  • Complete dead testing prior to startup and commissioning
  • Read and work from prints, layouts, and installation drawings
  • Maintain safe work practices on an active industrial jobsite
  • Work alongside mechanical and controls teams to complete installation milestones

Requirements

  • Previous conveyor or industrial electrical installation experience
  • Experience installing cable trays and premanufactured cable systems
  • Ability to perform dead testing prior to startup
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training (will provide if needed)
  • Fall Protection Certification (will provide if needed)
  • Reliable transportation and basic electrical tools/PPE

Nice to have

  • Lift Certifications (Scissor Lift/Boom Lift)
  • Experience working in distribution centers, warehouses, or automated facilities

  • Liaise with the Supply Chain or Procurement Department to ensure timely availability and coordination of all necessary parts and critical spares prior to work execution
  • Administer and maintain the CMMS (e.g., SAP, Ellipse) for accurate equipment maintenance history, work orders, and technical data
  • Act as a key contact and liaison between the Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules and operational priorities
  • Ensure all maintenance plans and work packages comply with all applicable safety standards, site policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OHS)
  • Generate reports on maintenance performance, key metrics (KPIs), and budget adherence
