Job Description:

As Conveyancing Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the full conveyancing process, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance and outstanding client care. You will manage a small team while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and work providers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Handling a range of matters including Freehold, Leasehold, Unregistered, New Build and Shared Ownership transactions with minimal supervision
  • Supervising and supporting a team of 2-3 paralegals, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with introducers, work providers, and suppliers
  • Delivering consistently high levels of customer care and managing client expectations
  • Overseeing referrals from key accounts and attending regional meetings as required
  • Supporting workflow management, deadlines, and performance targets
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of conveyancing processes and the ability to handle Freehold, Leasehold, Unregistered and Newbuild transaction types independently.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver a high level of service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and conveyancing software.
  • Ability to supervise and mentor paralegals, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
